Welding robot "IRIS WELD"

We build our robotic welding systems using welding robot of the most famous producers (such as Kuka, ABB, Comau, Fanuc, Kawasaki) to allow a fast, precise and repetitive work. The production in small and large series with the welding robot is the answer to winning even for more demanding and unusual assemblies. The experience gained in the implementation of robotic welding systems ensure customer reliability and competence.

Arc welding robot

Welding robot The process of arc welding (MIG, MAG) is widely used for high productivity and its applicability to automation systems. It's a process of autogenous welding in which the arc come out between the piece and the fuse wire.
The mechanical movement of the wire provides alimentation to the bath with continuity (in contrast to the rod electrode which, once finished, should be replaced with a new rod).
The protective gas is supplied, directly on the molten bath, by a support gas.

According to the welding equipment setting, and as a result of the parameters of voltage (V) and current (A), you can get different conditions for transfer of material:

Name

Description

Spray Arc

Continuous flow of small free drops. Is obtained using high values of current which allows conditions for stable arc. Obtained welding is of good quality and good appearance.

Globular Arc

Free big drops with lower frequency, obtained by middle currents. The welding is not handsome.

Short Arc

Big drops that post for short circuit, obtained with low current. Is used for welding in position and filling.

The following table shows the main characteristics of the arc welding:

Benefits

Disadvantages

Applicable to almost all types of ferrous and
    some non-ferrous materials
High quality of welding
Usable in all welding positions
Does not produce waste
High productivity
Tech-friendly learning

Sensitivity to drafts
High cost of protective gas

Spot welding robot

Robotic welding systems The spot welding is one of most used process of welding, falling under the category of resistance welding. The crucial parameters are the current, the time and the pressure; the time-diagram of this type of welding is made by the following steps:
Increasing of pressure to achieve the pre-set value
Passage of the current for the prescribed time
Reducing the current value of zero
Pending a few tenths of a second
Clearing the pressure
