Robot e Robotics

The term robot comes from the Czech word "robota" that means "heavy work" or "forced labor". IRIS 's intention is indeed to create machines that perform "heavy work" or "work in the chain". Jobs and tasks which are more and more rarely given to company staff, also to avoid the risk of being crushed by highly automated competition, in consideration of the high incidence of human resource costs on the cost of the final product.
The area of industrial automation and production of IRIS is involved in research activities related mainly on methodologies and technologies for factory automation and administration of robotized production processes.
In the realization of the robotic systems the IRIS is using its engineering, in which are merged studies in many disciplines both of humanistic nature (such as organized labor, biology, physiology, psychology and linguistics) and scientific nature (such as automation, electronics, physics, computer science, mathematics and mechanics). The goal is to give to final client a device on the top of the technology, designed to be easy to use, flexible and robust.
The IRIS , integrator of robots (scara, anthropomorphic, cartesian) of the best known brands worldwide (Kuka, ABB, Comau, Fanuc, Motoman, Denso and others), offers a competitive price to a full range of robot workcells, developed to respond to production needs of nearly all industries. The IRIS also offers tailor-made solutions for small and the large enterprises, including the recovery of used robots and the integration of no longer used robots in new automated cells.

The range of IRIS products for robotics include:

Palletizers

Palletizer robot

The palletizer IRIS PAL adapts to the specific needs of each manufacture automation, allowing to palletizing boxes, bags, rolls of paper, panels, etc.
The system is extremely flexible because it consists modular components and allows management to a maximum of five lines of entry and palletizing on the running boards on a maximum of five lines of output.

Depalletizers

Depalletizer robot

The depalletizing plants IRIS DePAL are designed to efficiency, flexibility and ease of use. Depending on the type of product and production needs, the depalletization may occur through the picking and handling either a full layer of the pallet or the individual product (possibly in combination with artificial vision system IRIS VIS 2 for the automatic recognition of items on the pallet and the determination of pick quotes).

Handling

Handling robot

The ten-year experience in the sector of industrial automation and robotics, allows the IRIS to offer technologically advanced solutions in design and construction of robotic plants for handling and assembly. The IRIS is therefore ideal partner to meet the growing need of integration expressed by companies in manufacturing sector.

Machines enslavement

Machines enslavement robot

IRIS ENS has been designed to meet the special manipulation needs necessaries for the automatic enslavement of tool machines such as: machining centers, lathes, transfer, presses.
Find application in the sector of mechanic industry and metals processing (brass, iron, steel, aluminum).

Welding robot

Welding robot

The IRIS build its robotic welding plants IRIS WELD using robots dedicated of the most famous producers, to allow a fast, precise and repetitive work. The production in small and large series with the welding robot is the answer to winning even for more demanding and unusual assemblies. The experience gained in the implementation of robotic welding workcells ensure customer reliability and competence.

Painting robot

Painting robot

The painting machines IRIS PAINT are the result of experience and know-how of IRIS in the field of application of paint: flexible solutions ranging from complete systems, to automation process, to individual products of painting. The extremely careful design and the use of dedicated anthropomorphic robot of best-known global brands (such as ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, Motoman, and others) guarantee accuracy and reliability.

Robotic special plants

Robotic special plants

The flexibility related to the use of better technology and the attention to the needs of an extensive and diversified customer base, make the IRIS an ideal partner in the search for more advanced and customized robotic solutions. The client requests are carefully considered and, including using sophisticated software of simulation, are translated into technologically advanced solutions.

Press line

press line

Strength of presses enslavement plants IRIS PRES LINE is the complex management software that, exploiting the full interconnection of robots and presses through local communications networks, enable a dramatic increase in performance obtained with the automatic and dynamic variation of work speed of robots in order to obtain their perfect synchronization with relatives presses and other robots participants in operations.
